The pool room and deck area are fully wheelchair accessible. The pool itself does not have a motorized lift — wheelchair users cannot enter the water via the steps independently. The pool deck has ample space alongside the pool for wheelchairs.
Are there grab bars at Pool House Lodge? +
Yes — grab bars are in the Queen Ensuite bathroom shower, by the toilet in the second main-floor bathroom, in the lower-level transfer shower, and as overhead grab bars on the lower bunks in the bunk room.
Can I get between levels without stairs? +
Yes. Step-free ramps connect the parking area to the main level, and the main level to the basement/lower level. No elevator, but the ramp provides full access between floors without stairs.
Is Pool House Lodge a good cabin for mixed-ability groups? +
Yes — it's one of the best options in Hocking Hills for multigenerational or mixed-ability groups. The property sleeps up to 20 guests. Guests with mobility needs can use the main-floor Queen Ensuite, roll-in shower, and accessible bathrooms, while other guests use the upper-floor bedrooms. Both levels are connected by ramp. The pool room, decks, firepit, kitchen, and living areas are all wheelchair friendly.
